Removing members from a Topic

The Topic admin and the Team admin has the authority to remove members from a Topic. If you have to remove members from a Topic due to changes in personnel, please refer to the following.


<PC/Web>

  • On the upper right corner of the Topic screen, click the participants icon and select the exit icon next to the member’s name.

✅Batch Removal

If your group has reorganized or made departmental changes, use the batch removal feature to remove members from chatrooms.

[PC/Web]

  • Go to the Topic and select the [...] icon in the upper right corner. Then select [Edit info].

(Only the team admin or the topic admin can access this feature.)

  • You can remove selected members. To remove all members, select [Select all members].

  • After selecting members you wish to remove from the Topic, select [Remove]. You can always invite them back into the Topic.

  • Select [Done]. You will receive confirmation messages.

(Only if you didn't select 'exit silently')


<Mobile>

1. Select the [=] icon on the upper right corner of the Topic to select members you wish to remove..

2. In the Participants screen, select the exit icon next to the member’s name.

If you are removing a member from a public Topic, please remember that the member can always rejoin the Topic by [Browse other public topics].
