Creating Templates

You can manage frequently used project settings as templates.

A project template is a feature that saves the values of basic project fields (Status, Type, Priority) and custom fields, allowing you to quickly create new projects in the same format.

  1. In the left project list, select [+] > [Templates].

  1. In the template list, select [+ Create New Template].

  1. Set the template name, fields (Status, Type, Priority), and custom fields, then select [Save Template] in the top right.

  1. Saved templates can be viewed in the template list, and you can use them to create new projects or modify or delete templates.

  1. Hover over the project and select ... > [Save as Template].

  1. After setting the template name, select [Save Template] in the top right.

You can also select a project template when creating a new project.

Using the template feature is useful in the following situations.

  • You can quickly create recurring project fields.

  • You can maintain consistent project management standards for your team.

  • You can reduce the time required to set up new projects.

Is there a limit to the number of projects I can create?

There is no limit to the number of projects you can create.

You can create and use as many projects as needed.

Can anyone create a project template?

Yes, anyone who is participating in a project can create a template.You can save an existing project as a template or create a new template.

Does editing or deleting a template affect existing projects?

No.Editing or deleting a template only applies to the saved template and does not affect projects that have already been created using that template.
