[2026.09.18] Mark as Unread

Mark conversations you can't reply to right away as unread, so you can come back to them later without missing a thing.

Sometimes you've seen a message but can't reply right away, or you need to look something up before handling it.

To help you keep track of these conversations, we've added the 'Mark as unread' feature

(This feature is available on the Premium plan and above.)

What is Mark as unread?

A red badge appears on the conversation in your list, so you won't forget conversations you need to revisit or follow up on later.

✲ This mark applies only to you. Messages you've already read won't appear as unread to anyone else, and the existing read status stays the same.

How to use
: Right-click a conversation (topic or chat), or click ... > 'Mark as unread'

📱 Mobile

How to use
: In your conversation list, press and hold the conversation and select [Mark as unread].

FAQ

I can't find the “Mark as unread” option.

If your team is on the Premium plan but you don't see this option, the conversation may still contain unread messages.

The “Mark as unread” option is not displayed for conversations that already have unread messages.

If I mark a conversation as unread on PC, will it also appear as unread on mobile?

Yes. Read status is synced across devices for your account. Conversations you mark as unread on PC will also appear as unread in your mobile conversation list, and vice versa.

What happens if a new message arrives in a conversation I've marked as unread?

When a new message arrives, the unread indicator is replaced by the number of unread messages.
