<Setting up two-factor authentication>

What is two-factor authentication(2FA)?

: Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security setting to prevent unauthorized access to user accounts. You can further protect your account and data by adding another layer of verification.

<PC/Web>

  • Go to the menu [=] > [Go to account home] and select [Account settings] on JANDI main page.

  • In account settings, go to two-factor authentication and verify through the authenticator app and email.

[Authenticator App Verification]

1. Click [verify] on the right side of the authenticator app button > Enter the JANDI account password and click the [Confirm] button.

2. Download the OTP app for verification on your mobile app store.

  • Search for ‘OTP’ on your mobile app store to download the app. There are many types of OTP apps but we recommend the Google Authenticator app.

3. Run the downloaded Authenticator app and scan the QR code.

  • Run the mobile OTP app and press QR code scan button. Then scan the QR code on your screen.

4. Type in the 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app and click [Register].

5. Press the [Enable Verification] button to finish the two-step verification.

  • Once you enable the two-factor authentication, you will receive a notification email.

  • If you disable both verifications, you will be logged out from all devices except for your current device.

[Email Verification]

1. Go to [two-factor authentication] > Email Verification > [Verify].

2. Type in your JANDI account password and click [Confirm].

3. JANDI will send the verification code to your primary JANDI email address. After you make sure the email address is correct, select [Next].

4. Sign in to your primary email and fill in the 6-digit verification code to [Enable Verification].

  • JANDI will send you the email verification code like the following.

5. You have completed the two-factor authentication.

<Mobile>

  • Go to the more [...] icon at the lower right corner of the mobile app. Select your account on the top and tap [Set up two-factor authentication].

[Authenticator App Verification]

1. Go to Two-factor authentication > select [verify] on the right side of the authenticator app button > Enter the JANDI account password and click the [Confirm] button.

2. Download an OTP app on your mobile app store. If you select the Google Playstore button, you will be moved to the playstore app. Download the app and come back to the JANDI app, then select [Next].

3. (1) Copy the code provided by JANDI. (2) Paste the code to your mobile OTP app.

4. Fill in the 6-digit verification code from the OTP app and select [register].

5. Select [Enable Verification] button to complete the two-factor authentication.

[Email Verification]

1. Go to [two-factor authentication] > Email Verification > [Verify]. Then type in your JANDI account password and press [Confirm].

2. JANDI will send the verification code to your primary JANDI email address. After you make sure the email address is correct, select [Next].

3. Fill in the 6-digit verification code from your email and press [Enable Verification].
